The new Exnos M! that will be in the S7 has alread been benchmarked longside the A9 and A9x months ago on geekbench, and it beats all in both single core and multicore except the new denver 2 SOC from nvidia

1ns0mniac, 10 Sep 2015WOW! If a 1.38Ghz can get this score, imagine the score of a 2Ghz processor! Insane! But they ... moreIf they'd want to focus on energy efficiency and reduce heat emission, they would only try to increase its clock very minutely, say around 1.5~1.8GHz, some notches below the 2GHz mark. With that much already desirable core score for a low clockspeed, I believe they won't ever need to push above the 2GHz line to achieve a remarkably impressive core score if not for ultimate core score geeks

The A9x chip is produced BY SAMSUNG. Get your facts right! It's basically an exynos 7420..Same 14nm proccess that ONLY SAMSUNG have at the moment! It's also only slightly more than the galaxy S6/Note in benchmarks...The S6 and Edge have been out almost half a year now!

Apple A9x confirmed to score 2100 on single core and 5100 on multi-core, if samsung or qualcomm wants to compete on high end devices chips they need to a lot better. it's a boost of 15% on score and the graphic processor gets better too. The next generation of exynos or qualcomm must be better on performace against a9x for the good of theses companies.

This is just another rumored chipset. Even Exynos 7422 haven't show itself yet. And where is the Exynos M1? Now, Exynos 8890? Btw, does the Lucky-LTE suggest a new phone is coming?

The lower clock to be honest indicates a mid-segment chip

As far as SoCs inside of a PHONE go the S6 family are unrivaled so far (until we see how the Z5 Premium performs with the added space and heat sinks). In MY opinion (which means you don't have to like it) the sd810 should have been kept primarily for tablets as it clearly has issues inside of 5" devices (god knows what it's going to be like in the Z5 compact...). But yeah, just because Sammy beat everyone there's no need to cry and slander them.
