It's always good to hear updates, I hope and pray that update also includes some battery facilities and some re-design in layouts. Whatever it is, IOS is always the best!

Apple : Everyone will get update to latest.
Nexus : All nexus will get update to latest Android.
Android Manufacturer : Only flagship get update later. Better late than never.
Conclusion : Buy Apple or Nexus.
