What is wrong with the people who choose the nominees?!?!
Why is the Moto Droid/Milestone not up here?(best droid phone)
Why is the Nokia n900 not up here?(One of the most powerful and intuitive devices)
Why is the HTC HD2 not up here?(stunning and powerful full touch screen WinMo)
Why is the nokia e72 not up here?(By far superior to the P.O.S. blackberry bold 9700)

please fill me in why these phones^, others too, were not nominated instead?!

deep space bar, 21 Jan 2010who cares nokia still outranks anyone in mobile unit sales cause they tend to all the markets ... moreu really think if iphone really costs US$150, AT&T would only pay US$99 to Apple?

How about those $0 handset from your almighty brand? I know someone paid US$120 for 58xx last Jan with contract, does that mean your almighty brand only received $120 for the 58xx handset last Jan?

Anonymous, 21 Jan 2010Here you go... http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/23/technology/companies/23apple.html Read... morewho cares nokia still outranks anyone in mobile unit sales cause they tend to all the markets something that the americans need to realize ....there is more then one market plus subidizing a phone looses shares cause the value is not equal to the phones retail actual cost

for instent

iphone 3gS is acutally 900USD
it cost 150USD to make apperantly

having the device subsidized lowers the value
so a 900 phone now cost 99 dollars...less then the actual cost to make the phone
so apple is actually loosing money
since it cost them more to make a phone then to sell one since they have to be bought through network providers on a 2 - 3 year term

while the other guys are mostly selling their phones full price they can afford to make more
