This one is for all Sony fans. Though the note mentions that the Z3 is better VFM, it also mentions that the iPhone 6 still trumps the Z3 in all areas.

Apple has always argued that the human eye cnt discern beyond 300ppi. However, there is definitely a difference between HD and FHD and its easily discernible. If we hold the 6 and 6 Plus side by side, the difference does show.
Having said that, its equally true that despite being HD, iPhone 6 display is perfectly usable and infact looks good when you dnt hold the phone too close to your eye. My friend has a S6 with 2K display and I compared the display with his. Cranking up all the way to full brightness does make the display on iPhone 6 look good.
OEMS, including Apple should always work for making more VFM products, especially when they charge above $800 for a smartphone. However, most of the time it happens that Apple makes using a smartphone simpler while Android phones like to boast of numbers. Its for users to decide what they really want. I have used Android before (1st and 2nd gen Moto G) and iPhones since i4; I find iOS much more simple to use. Even my mom can easily use my old i5. I brought her a new Android phone (Moto E) and she asked me to sell it off after 7-10 days. She found it way complicated.

Other OEMs didn't use i... morefor me i dont want 2k or 4k display at least for the 5 upcoming years but recording in 4k is important for becz i use it in my laptop and it does look better than 1080p i just want 4k with 60fps xperia z2 -z3-z5 are better than the iphone its a fact
1- iphone cant match the sound of it especially when using the active noise cancellation headphones and i know you can buy one for your iphone but still no match
dont forget the HI-Res Audio and its fantastic i feel sad for you all apple and sam fan im not sony fan they just did a great job for music lovers and i think all of us love music
2- battery life i cant get 8hrs time screen on i dont think there is need to mention the battery of iphone lol
3- for display the tech reached 4k and iphone still under HD except the ugly 6 plus with its huge bezel
4- for build quality u say iphone better well im not sure becz my z2 which is more than year old still work after using it underwater multiple times every week no humidity no sound issues so its really waterproof after 1 year and going .......
look what does not seem sense to me it buying a smartphone (iphone or another ) that dont have at least FHD display and no stereo speakers bad battery life no SD card ( iphone 6s/6s+ 16/32gb and with 4k recording yet no sd card really !!!? what is this shit there is no point with 4k i fan ) and all this with a price tag 800$ or more sorry im human and im using my brain note 5 too
im talking like this becz i want OEMS to create devices that benefit us as users not a tech race between them

Solid build with ingress protection, good battery life. Although my experience might differ from yours as I am running a custom firmware.

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2015Agree 100%I don't want to argue or humiliate your choice. Just to make you clear about illogical claims:
Iphones have displays with lower resolutions and only sizes (before 6 it was one size). Lower ppi, better gpu performance.
Android phones are from various manufacturers with various display sizes and ppi densities. But gpu is same. One gpu deals with a lot of types of display. That's why performance varies everytime.
Another point is about OS. Android is an open source software that's why it's always havier than iOS. All android softwares contain higher graphical contents because of various display size/resolutions. But iOS apps have only two sizes/resolutions. Android is developed targeting a huge numbers of phones but iOS is developed targeting only few phones. Moreover iOS and iPhone hardwares are from same manufacturer. That's why software optimization is always better.
And lastly iOS uses longer transition time what gives a smoother look with longer time. If you want to enjoy same smooth transition on Android, you must activate developer options and then change transition speeds.
Finally i want to say it's totally illogical to compare iOS with Android. If you still have argument than I would like to request you to compare a Sony Xperia Z5 compact (not standard or premium version as only compact's specifications are closer to iphone). I think your bold and blind illogical support for iphones will decrease significantly if you're honest. Thank you.
