Whenever you load too much content the OS will close things "open" in the background. There is a lag when reopening these items.

Especially since HTC and some others came out with a 1080p display with the same physical size screen as the iPhone 6s.

Maybe you have a china copy?It's not a china copy, but you have to realize that how your phone fares is largely dependent on how you use it, if you put ton of stuff to slow it down on it it will eventually lag, it's just the nature of computers and no OS is spared from it. That's why nexuses are generally iPhone-level smooth while phones from OEMs with heavy UI skins may lag from day one. My point is that no computer is exempt from lag and that the "iPhone is smoother than android" argument isn't accurate or true at all, in fact they are quite the same.

its not the s6 hardware that causes the lag, its crappy touch wiz. my htc one m8 doesn't lag single bit either even now. i have used all and in my opinion after iphone, htc sense ui is the best. and anyone who wishes not to regret switching to android from iOS should by HTC

If you are talking about your iPhone 5s, then you are not on the same topic they are. The iPhone is indeed much faster and less laggy than the Samsung.

It have hardware of iphone 4s which... moreI am not lying, I guarantee you, and it's not the only iphone user I know of whose phone lags a lot. I also personally own a first gen iPad mini and it's performance is far from stellar, it can't handle many things and lags a lot, but that's to be expected from a device with those specs. However, the fact that a 5S lags so much is unexplicable. Accept the fact that Apple devices lag just as much or even more than Android devices, don't be a sheep.

In this comment thread: Lots of dumb Android fanboys who don't know Java garbage collection needs a lot of RAM, that's why iPhone has more than plenty with 2GB but Android needs minimum 3GB.
