Simply because andriod is true multitasking. On my S4 with "only 2GB RAM"..I can have Internet and messaging or WhatsApp open at the same time on the same screen AND have a movie or tv on the video player on the screen. It all works with no lag..no issues. 3 things on screen at once. Ios is as simple as Windows Phone. It's for simple people. Why it's so popular! People gotta love apple..They don't care about having worse tech in their phones. .They just say Samsung copy everything. .The TEUE innovator.. everything in an iPhone is not made by apple! Almost 40%of an iphone is proven to be made by samsung..cause they actually design cpu.. RAM..etc... and Sony have the best cameras. Qualcomm the best processor (up until the 14nm Samsung exynos 7420 which is the world first for mobile and is used in the new appke A9!)

They never announced when they upped the RAM of iPhone from 512mb to 1 GB. They never bragged about iPad getting 2 or now 4 GB RAM. All they talk about is real life performance & Apple excels there.

I am not an iPhone user or fan and I never had iPhone before but I think the "low" 1 or 2 GB shouldn't be that bad. When we check the tests and comparisons, we can see that the iPhone 6 with 1 GB RAM can easily keep up with Android flagships which have 2 or 3 GB RAM. I don't know how Apple do that but they must be doing something right. Just my opinion.:)

Does not really matter how much RAM it has - so far it was nice and smooth with only 1GB of RAM too. The problem is that you got to hunt for charger around noon. That is a shame they cannot solve!

i had a galaxy s3 and a galaxy s4 and finnaly s5 those devices sucks every time lag and they have more RAM than iphone but idevices work better than any android you have to realize that android suck sammy focus in camera and the people think that is the best jajajaj what a shame iphone doest matter what they are doing even with less ram works better than others

First of all let me clear I am nither an apple fan nor a samsung fan,I own both the iPhone 5s & the galaxy note 3,my iPhone sometimes freezes it's only been 1 year but my note 3 doesn't lags or freezes it's been 2 year's

I'm nota Samsung "fanboy"..i just know the FACTS..If you want to buy a fantastic iphone 6s with its simple operating system. .That has no lag because it needs NO RAM it's so simple. .. good for you. The FACT is. . I don't want a hugely expensive phone with a worse screen. .crap resolution.. worse camera. .worse battery life... hugely less RAM.. so yeah. I honestly do think the Galaxy S6 edge+ AND NOTE 5 and even the regular S6 are hugely better phones in almost every respect.

I'm an android user but I have to accept that androids have been slacky concerning ram lately (it's as if they have been stuck to the 2-3GB figure for years). And ram is very important in android (unlike in -say ios - where back grounding is less important)
