vrvly, 11 Sep 2015And thats supposed to be better for battery. It translate to wait for S820 devices, this time ... moreBetter in theory, but in reality they'll just lower the capacity and make the screen even more power hungry, so as always it'll provide half a day of heavy, on-screen usage at best.
"Not compatible with sd"? Well that's pure bullshit. Does anyone actually believe this?
I hope they've learned about including the SD card and removable battery! and IP67 otherwise it's a "no-go" again. Recent failures should tell them something!
this will be the same..
after they finish implementing touchwiz in it, it will be laggy.
S7 with a 7000mAh battery would be awesome and truly lucky for Samsung.
Anonymous, 10 Sep 2015The Note5 and S6Edge+ are three weeks old, and barely available in many markets, yet Sameusng ... moreExactly.
That's the point of the Apple's propaganda. To slow down the S6/Edge sales now.
Of course this device on the benchmark is not S7/Edge. Besides it's 5.7".
If the leak is true , it could be some Note version, or new line. Or just SoC testing unit.
Anonymous, 10 Sep 2015The Note5 and S6Edge+ are three weeks old, and barely available in many markets, yet Sameusng ... moreGenius of your level you could make billions with your brain. The device needs to undergo testing to see how it holds up, all devices are leaked in their development.
Anonymous, 10 Sep 2015The Note5 and S6Edge+ are three weeks old, and barely available in many markets, yet Sameusng ... moreDo you always need the latest and greatest? Buy a phone your happy with and stop complaining, who cares if a better device comes out, no one forces you to buy it or comment on the news article.
Simchester, 10 Sep 20157420 the best SoC for 20152015 is not over yet. Wait for the benchmarks of apple A9 and if tablets are included wait for A9X.
And thats supposed to be better for battery. It translate to wait for S820 devices, this time flagship unveiling in stores is so much bad. Note5 nowhere, so is Z5P. Wonder who comes first with this snapdragon...
Simchester, 10 Sep 20157420 the best SoC for 2015If 7420 is the best why is it not associated with s7? Only few people are using s6 now s7 is on the way. I'd hate to have Samsung products in my life. Apple is only what I have. Apple TV is on the way and guess what I'm gonna but it. IPhone 6S I'm gonna buy it to trade my iPhone 5. IPhone my second religion
I hope Samsung to improve & fix it's bad strategies; specially about : card slot ; waterproof ;USB c ; battery & speakers.
The Note5 and S6Edge+ are three weeks old, and barely available in many markets, yet Sameusng is leaking the S7!? What's the point in buying these devices??
mir, 10 Sep 2015Why not keep improving their own chipset and use it on all their flagship devices? They alread... moreIt's not that easy, they got the better chip in 2015 but only because of their 14nm manufacturing process, when it comes to the chip design, the CPU is the same than the 810 has and the GPU is worse than the adreno in the Qualcomm.. So a snapdragon 810 in 14 nm would be instantly better than the exynos, since Qualcomm will use the 14nm process for their next chip, you cannot tell who will get the best chip in 2016. When it comes to chip design, Samsung is still behind and needs to overtake Qualcomm to get the better 2016 chip
"Just yesterday we saw an unknown Samsung device getting benchmarked sporting an Exynos 8890 chipset. The device in question was codenamed Lucky. According to a new report, this is in fact the codename for the Galaxy S7. Since 7 is considered a lucky number in many cultures, it's pretty obvious why Samsung chose to name its next flagship "Project Lucky" while it's in development."
TBH the "lucky number" in most asian countries is not 7 but 8, so when I saw "lucky" I related it to "Exynos 8" rather than "galaxy S7"... I'd take any bet...
Ufs with micro sd cards would require special sd cards that could actually provide those read/write speeds. eMMC was never designed to be the fastest form of memory.
