Well, if you don't have the nexus line of phones, or the high end flagship phones, then theres nothing to complain about since most mid range to low end phones wont get it and the phones that falls with the 2 year obligation for OEMS to upgrade the phones.
I love the stock Google but would love it even more with a dark theme. There are so many customers who want. It doesn't seem like a difficult thing to offer. Why not let the customer choose? I hate all the white backgrounds.
It sucks Google is not including a dark theme Android M. A dark theme will reduce eye strain and save battery of droids with AMOLED Display. When Android 5.0 L launched, it was buggy. Hope this time the OS isn't plagued with new bugs.
why the heck would you do such a thing! this is REALLY frustrating ... Thats why you never stick to the lame stock build .. root the heck out of your android!!
There's always a dark option n windows and android os, white screen is more battery consume too. Already practical speaking, no limits left for any major change, so Marshmallow will be same as kitkat with nitty gritty here and there. That's all, darker theme ir background looks more presented. Google has its own logic, maybe later 6.0.1.
I do not understand you Google. Why they love so much white background on all their apps? Have they even heard about AM OLED?
One of best feature, and as expected dumped because google dont give a flying pig what users want... So next they would probably dumb battery save system... but hey! they gonna give us new fancy select animation! how cool is that?
Anonymous, 11 Sep 2015Brightness isn't enough at night. Besides I don't want "dark", I want " black&q... moreI don't have an AMOLED screen, but i agree with you. Dark material is junk! We want it BLACK!
appleisdabest, 11 Sep 2015you have no idea what you are talking about. ios is da best. period.Obviously you never tried customizing an android phone before.. stop trolling and go jailbreak your grandma's isht..
Dh33r4j, 11 Sep 2015GSMArena, please consider a dark theme option to your website. It'll help a lot of us who use ... moreTheme web pages slows down the site. It is not practical. Stay minimalist so we can load webpage fast.
It's ugly either way. It can be black, white, red, w/e colour. It's an ugly interface, no matter the colour.
GSMArena, please consider a dark theme option to your website. It'll help a lot of us who use amoled screens. I remember the days when even web pages had themes. Many of the forums used to have it.
Well that's a deal-breaker for me. These days pretty much ANY phone hardware is more than capable enough, so I'll just buy something that either has a dark theme or can be modded to one. Sorry, Google...
