It appears that the limited range of compatible models is only temporary: from what I read, the other Symbian models will be added too in some time. How old the models may be, however, is the question... I doubt Nokia will provide free navigation for the 7650. ;)

If only x6 were launched with android and multitouch then sayonara to my 3Gs,free map for a lifetime is desperate move but also appropriate strategy to gain non nokia users.

I never like nokia touchscreen compare to my iPhone 3Gs is like comparing a ferrari with a mazda but with their bold move i'll look forward their next step.

This is the first time i salute to nokia..

Well, I tried my best to download it for my 5800 but it's not having it

There is no available firmware update for my model (locked to and on the three network), therefore the maps do not work with my phone. It's a ridiculous situation and i'm beginning to hate THREE

Is the Maps fully active and supports India?
If yes, then which cities of India does it cover?
I'm about to buy a Nokia 5230.
I guess its one heck of a devise for the prize Nokia is selling it for!
Gr8 gng Nokia!

The thing is, the free nav is only available for few mobiles and several countries. I've tried it for my n95 and Romania.. but there was none. :(

The update seems to be available only for X6, N97mini, E72, E55, E52, 5800, 5230, 6730 classic, 6710 navigator. The rest will still be using the 3.0 version.
