$300 for a smartwatch isn't smart @Mir? How much do you buy a regular watch which does nothing but tell the time? Something your phone does well and better anyway...

Gear S2 and S2 Classic both have same the same screen size which is 1.2". What makes the S2 to feel bigger than the S2C is that the dimension of the S2C is technically smaller than the S2. I was about to take the S2C, but thinking of that too-small 1.2" and smaller dimension makes me switch my mind to the regular S2.

By the way, am I the only one who thinks that 1.2" is too small? I'm a thin guy--I have a Gear 2 and it looks really good on my wrist. I dunno about S2 though, I feel like the screen's too small for me. I'm still interested of getting it somehow. I wish Samsung would make a bigger version of S2. *please don't name it S2 Plus...*

Sometimes I think the manufacturers laugh at us... but sometimes I'm pretty sure of that. When apple launched their smartwatch for $350, everyone freaked out. But it sold a lot. Now Samsung and Motorola are following apple, charging $300 for their smartwatches. I don't know what to say anymore. For me, it's time to stop spending so much in technology, keep it simple, buy the best deal of some 2014 top smartphone (like nexus 6 for $350) and forget about these kind of blogs.

Don't buy the Gear S2 Classic. Its rotating bezel felt flimsier than the sport model, Gear S2. Gear S2 is better and have larger screen. Felt way sturdier too. The Classic variant is just for the look.

300 dollars for a smart watch? Not such a smart investment tbh.
