Anonymous, 14 Sep 2015Shipped not sold plus how do you know they're not mistaking it for last year's model.Pre-orders are the number of phones "sold" as Apple distributes these devices directly to the consumer. Also, pre-orders only apply to the iPhone 6S, as the iPhone 6 is still readily available in store. The website is pretty clear on which models are being sold, as is the price.
It's not rocket science if you read the article carefully :)
