Android 5.0 Was Awesome But Since I Upgraded My Z1 To 5.1 The Camera Doesn't Work,Apps Started To Close By Itself,Heating Got A Lot Worse,Music Pauses By Itself And Many Other Issues.Android 5.1 Works Fine On My Z3 And Z2 And Also Dad's Z4/Z3+ But Really Sucks On My Z1,Please Sony Fix This Issue.

sony has good phones but cameras are bad because of their software processing...good lenms good mpx good af but nothing else a clear example is lg g2 it only uses 13 mpx with a smaller af and it is still able to take way better pictures than 20 mpx sone made sensor and phone...sony should have best of the best but thats not the case.. same goes for sammy wich uses its own lens and sensors but when ever uses sony then their camera gets pretty nice.

After the 5.1.1 updatein Xperia Z1, ring tone is not working properly, but all other sounds and notifications are working fine.

Just updated my xperia z1 from 4.4.4 to 5.0.2 but i cant find 5.1. because phone say it is updated to the last version, someone help ?

upgraded to 5.1.1 :-)
using USB and flash tool
followed recommendation to do a factory reset with the upgrade
(tool used mac Sony bridge)
so far everything works fine
battery life not 100% sure but at the moment says 2 days

AnonD-426780, 18 Sep 2015Not at, heating too much, it increased instead of decreasing You can fix the heat issue. After I updated, the phone was heating too much. What I did was clear cache, turn off phone, and keep it near a A/C. After some time the phone cooled down, and I turned on the phone. No heating after that.

I have just updated my Xperia Z1 from Android 5.0.2 to 5.1.1.
The 5.0.2 release drastically slowed down my phone (it was very annoying). After 1 h of usage of 5.1.1 release I am very happy with it since the phone is fast again. I do not have the feeling I am using a 3 years old phone! Besides the fast speed of the phone, I have not noticed any other difference.
This time I can say a "Well done Sony"

Just got the 5.1.1 update on my Z1 Compact today in Iran. The update was downloaded over wifi, no Pc Companion was needed. Way to go Sony, my loyalty is now absolutely at 100%.
