MAS, 15 Sep 2015Samsung is copying apple again. Doesn't apple have the bending phone/screen patent (iphone 6+)?the only bending patent apple has was that iphone 6 was very easy to bend
F.Y. sammy,i want foldable tablet/smartphone combo+removable battery+eye tracking !!!
I think if done right, and idea like this has incredible potential. I think one of the best ways that they could implement it is with a dual screen feature. Where when folded, it has a simple 4.5 inch low res display with your traditional android layout, and you can do everything you would normally do. But when folded open to access the internal displays, it acts like a tablet with a 4:3 ratio and becomes more suited for media, like pictures, videos, and e-books. Obviously you then turn the focus to the internal displays combined for a much higher resolution, something like 2048x1536.
Anonymous, 15 Sep 2015lolSamsung should only consider to public this thing if and only if there is no bezel in between the two screens...
Sony Foreva, 15 Sep 2015Sony started the concept now Samsung follows... Samsung demo a better device than the failure Sony Tablet P in 2010. 5 years from now everyone will follow Samsung with the edges just like they did with phablets.
I really which a company like Samsung or especially Sony can produce a phone Tablet more or less like the old Nokia communicator, I loved that phone and it was hi tech in its tme
To everyone that calls this gimmick, I think youre on the wrong website.
Sony Foreva, 15 Sep 2015Sony started the concept now Samsung follows... You are right... They just want their brand name on this invention too
Gotta see the actual device first to see how they've actually implemented it.
