Anonymous, 15 Sep 2015an awful specs for new midrange. i had htc desire820 with SD615 and 2G of RAM but in hd screen... morewhat kind of experince are u talking about comparing that desire garbage to a lg g3...using 720p screen most of the phone can run flawless even with sd400 processor...2k is heavier even for sd801 so it was a mistake...but it doesnt means it is slow maybe u had some crap installed on it wich gave u that poor performance.

this phone with its specs is still a very good contender and I would definetely consider it,. My guess would be two versions 8GB and 16GB expandable memory

It's not even funny. 8 GB storage?! what?! Seriously. toss to the garbage the 8 GB storage forever! MOVE TO 16 AND UP! (My G4 has 32 GB, planned to buy a modified G4 with 64 but wasn't sure if it's even worth it.) -.-

and chipset also overheats.
something like exynos fro the galaxy alpha would have done a better job.
or launch it with SD800 or SD801 (they are 2 generations behind but still more powerful)

I am more concerned about its low ROM -a measly 8gb! My current K3(lenovo) offers 16gigs!! This one would honestly need 32!
