Guys, please don't take this seriously and get offended. It's mean entirely light-hearted and tongue-in-cheek. That said,

IT'S ABOUT TIME YOU ALL GOT SCREWED AND WE IN THE US GOT SOMETHING NOT OFFERED THERE!!!!

We live with this crapola here in the US constantly when it comes to cars, smartphones, and on and on. We even see our own domestic US companies (Ford, for example), offering cool features and products outside the US, but we are left in the cold.

I love my gunmetal, Verizon Gear S2 3G. As many reviews have said, it's getting close to what a smartwatch should be and do. The 3G is fantastic!

So, nyeah! (picture tongue sticking out) Suffer, for once! :-)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In all seriousness, I hope they get the eSIM thing worked out and offer the product in Europe for you all. This market segmentation is ridiculous and stupid.

Anonymous, 19 Sep 2015Wow wow wow. All the european here are enraged. Cool down people. It doesn't say Samsung not r... moreCarefull in what. It was Europe that accepted the first Note the most, not the yanks with their hardons for Apple, its Europe that Samsung always sold tons more then Apple's backyard. Samsung is killing itself, going apple's, so be it. Good ridance, just like HTC.

Yeah well its not arriving in Mexico and I am pissed. I could replace my phone with it amd listen to calls via a Moto Hint. Perfect combo. A pitty Samsung is leaving it out of Mx.

See that? Europe is not accepting Samsung products because they know that Samsung has a low quality devices.

Wow wow wow. All the european here are enraged. Cool down people. It doesn't say Samsung not releasing it in Europe ever. It just not there, yet. Just like Note5. Note5 is in Europe already. Samsung is just being careful. They have been watching Europe region closely to see how things goes there. Not all product is successful in europe. Just a few european complaining here and there on the internet doesn't mean you represent the entire european population. Who are you to represent them?

They'll take a fall, believe me. Samsung's been accusing the competition of arrogance for many years, the strategy they're upholding once of a sudden is simply beyond arrogance.

So sad... with tears in my eyes, I have to admit, that I am seriously considering to change to another brand of gadgets. I currently have an almost complete ecosystem of Samsung products and I have always been proud with such system. My plan has always been to have the whole home set up with the Samsung ecosystem including using the Samsung IoT. However, lately, I just cant understand why Samsung are taking such suicidal decisions.
These decisions of 'downgrading' flagship devices by removing certain functionality/features from them, Demoting Europe from their priority lists, and now even creating products which may be incompatible with Europe systems (3G watch e-sim) and without GPS (which I have been waiting years for), is giving me no choice but to seriously and sadly think about my future where devices are concerned.
I have invested alot in Samsung products so I will wait to see what will happen next before I take such drastic decision, but what was unthinkable a year ago has become a possibility - Changing to another brand of Devices!

There must've been research done on how many actually used the 3G in the last version of the Gear. Actually, I think having separate Bluetooth versions will increase sales because before for the Gear S most had no interest in the 3G capabilities so they opted for another device like the Moto 360.

why do you do this to yourselves Samsung?, Europe has a rough population of around 750 million and even if you only sell the note 5 for example to 1% of the population your making a massive profit and keeping your place as the worlds biggest phone vendor, why not just release this watch with a standard nano sim and make it available worldwide asap. obviously you have the insight but just seems odd why you would keep holding back products because they are not compatible when there are plenty of worldwide standards that can be adopted

I like Samsung products I really do but this kind of marketing ploy is completely unacceptable.
This is nothing but hype building and greed.
My latest phone is the S6 edge which will be the last Samsung product I buy.
Enough is enough these corporations who rely on us to buy their products so the company can run and those all important share holders get their profit need to start doing what we want and not dictating what we can have and when.
The last straw has broke the camels back.
                                      Goodbye Samsung.
