The physical body and glass screen is the limit. Until they find material that can bend as well, we will never see it come true. We need flexible chipset, flexible battery, flexible glass, no more sim card and many others. On the bright side, Samsung had developed SDI free-form battery which is used in Gear S2. E-sim is also used in Gear S2.
until they use Sapphire on the screens, there is no scratch resistant glass! all these fancy names doesn't mean anything!
Samsung, bring out the YOUM flexible displays please! It's been two years since the teaser. Don't keep us waiting.
For a company with so much tech talent..... they need to come up with better names. Seriously, "turtle glass"??? :-)
With a market share of less than 10% this will be no compensation if Samsung would take their business elswere
There is no worry for Gorilla since their cooperation with Synaptics for Nokia/Microsoft is the best solution available in Lumia phones - a very sensitive digitizer which reacts with metal, rubber, covered hands (eg. with ordinary gloves) etc.

Drop it as much as you want and never break. If only touchscreen can be made with plastic. But no. Finger drag become the obstacle.

Then the S4's screen was slightly bruised too, never dropped or anything. That's why I am having a tempered glass on my Note 3 now. Gorilla Glass 1 was stronger than Gorilla Glass 3 or what? Back to my point, its nothing but selling point. Those old Nokia phones back in the day, what glass did they use? And how were those phone again?

Samsung produces it's own chips, screens, produces flexible batteries, now toughened screen glass. All hail The King
AnonD-276592, 18 Sep 2015Apple will follow Samsung soon.I doubt it very greatly. Why? simply because as much as they want to, it cannot be attainable on their part. mainly because they don't have that brilliant engineers which Samsung has, to accomplish those things for them. You know what they have? wanna know? ohs, do you really wanna know? well if you insist, what Apple currently have at-the-moment, aside from the deceitful marketing staff, trollers!, like you...
JD, 18 Sep 2015Taking over??? Buahaha...... Bloody copy-cat! "Bloody copy-cat!"? If so then, tell the world which company has been able to do and accomplish what Samsung have done so-far, and is still, currently doing huh? You think Apple did? Are you in the right state of mind?, troller!?
