I guess the Sony's mockery of battery life is in it's place:
"Hey Siri, what about the battery life?"

        low cost components &

recharge more frequently, and have to buy new device more often.

Well, smaller battery equals more frequent changes or - more often the case - throwing the whole device in the garbage. The more "efficient" chipset costs significantly more and sounds more "advanced" in the marketing headlines. That eqals more profit! What's not to understand here???

i'd rather have a 9mm phone with better battery than a 6mm with 'normal' battery

I simply.do not understand this ongoing trend with manufacturers...they make a more efficient soc so as to improve battery life but then end up putting in smaller capacities, rendering the whole thing useless. We don't want < or = battery performance.

That is a huge decrease in battery size. I'm pretty sure no one is complaining about the thickness at this point. So please stop making the battery smaller!

AnonD-375713, 18 Sep 2015Reducing the battery in the name of thickness.... Form over function YET AGAIN. Seriously why... moreBecause Tim Cook and his engineers is an idiot. Smaller battery, and the only one who buying is the loyal zombies. 2/10 repairability? That practically unrepairable. Nice job Apple. You just made the best disposable ipad ever.

Seriously why can't they just keep it at the "insanely thick" 7.5mm and make it last longer...
