Have both alpha and S4. S4 was huge improvement over S3 and easily got me over 3 days! I must admit I have battery replaced twice by under warranty, but the battery life was perfect. Furthermore S5 proven to be even better, I was doing easily 3days+ and have tested phone on Ultra Battery Saving mode while on vacation and it gave me nice 10days of life. alpha was not as good, maybe similar with S4. Currently, moved to S6edge and it feels ~ same as S4, definitely less battery life than S5, but still solid performance considering how thin it is. The battery life you referring to could be either your own problem - not knowing how to manage the phone e.g. having plenty of crap running in background all the time, leaving GPS, Skype on etc. of faulty phone or battery, bot S4 and alpha can easily do 2-3 days on moderate use.

They will loose customers that want to buy medium size phone, i prefer to buy an 10 years old phone that to buy a gigantic 5.5 inch phone

I personaly have i9506 s4 ( i will not buy for personal use a phone bigger than that ) . I personaly will want to buy a phone with s6 features and galaxy alpha looks, important to have removeble battery . Just how they do s6 , s6 edge , s6 edge plus they can do s6 compact the same s6 , like sony do . And i have a lot of friends that they don t buy samsung because they are to big .

They are too busy editing the articles and testing new phone to make review. Most of their news is a few days late compare to what had been released on other site. Cnet, Dailymail and AndroidAuthority to name a few have latest news a few days earlier than gsmarena. They just collect the news and rewrite them. You can see they always put (Source) at the end of their articles.
