They just put a precaution step about waterresistant so people will not misunderstood what it really means so user will not broke their device..

That's actually quite a good way around having so many pixels on a display, although the display still draws a lot of power from it's sheer number of pixels.

WOW! now thats a smart move! I was worried about the performance. Even the fastest chips around couldn't push some games in 4k, not even to mention the battery drain.
However, I'm sure a custom rom will show up for enthusiasts that would enable 4k all the time :D

So its possible sony has found a solution to make things cooler. As for the 4k it only works when in album mode and movie mode. Similar to how x reality works.

Sony looks damn convincing everytime. Had a horrible experience with z2. Worst camera ever. Always heating. Frame drop. But excellent build quality and in call voice. I wouldn't put my money on it again.

This is very clever solution, I mean you will have 4K Resolution when needed. Any TV Producer would know that 4K content is not yet widely available, mean that there no much content to display at native 4K Resolution. And you can save up battery and have more enjoyable games in the process.

Doesn't this cause issues with scaling blurriness? I always thought 1080p content looks better on a native 1080p TV than upscaled on a 4K TV (if TV size is the same).
