LOL!!! This is the biggest joke that I have ever come across in technology world!! The medias earlier said that Android is a vulnerable OS prone to hacking, malware and flaws and Apple is the most secure OS that provides its users the best in class security as its a closed OS. Now see what has happened!!! The alleged Android OS has never been attacked this hard and the most secure and advanced Apple ecosystem as its proud fanboys or users boast about is infected with several malware in its app store as well as, log in names and passwords of more than 225,000 people were stolen by hackers in China!!! Thus we understand that no OS is perfect or highly secure in this world.

Especially if you use Apple Pay service. Hackers can steal all your information just like the article said. It's not just the Chinese App Store. It's the same with the U.S. App Store as well. Plenty of apps which have hidden malwares. As an iPhone user I did find the general quality of apps as very low compared to the play store.

That's ... moreThe Chinese version of the App Store which no one here uses. It's still most likely better than the Android options in China. And also better than the regular Play Store, where new malware discoveries no longer warrant a post on this site.

Two apps tested. The malware is on Baidu's cloud and this is used by a lot of developers at China. So, maybe we have a more apps infected. Be careful on your assertions.

There are more than one source. If you read all of them, you will see that there are more than 20 infected apps confirmed. And this is the sixth malware to infect the App Store. The others were LBTM, InstaStock, FindAndCall, Jekyll and FakeTor.
