I dnt know what 2 mk of this technology. To me it seems its something between resistive and capacitive u hav light touches n pressure touches, dnt know if it will mk sense.I could be wrong lik an O,well time will tell.
my pocketpc has this for several years. ppc is Hyundai A200 and when i touch the screen lightly, it just lights up the display, but when i touch the screen strongly, it activates the button i pressed, even if the screen is dark.
this should not be the same as the blackberry pressure touch screen.. coz blackbery touch screen sucks... hope this tech will improve on user touchscreen experience...
is this not similar to the piezo technology used on the Blackberry Storm 2 screen?
2nd up, and this system would be flawed in that, you press too hard, like an application taking longer than usual to load and break the screen, then you may buy another phone for the price it would take to fix
