Having all your cards in a phone rather than a wallet could change the way we use them.
Add your drivers licence or national ID card, and you won't need a wallet in the future. And if your cards are virtual, that means if you lose your phone it's easier to block and restore those cards rather than having to wait for a replacement plastic.

EugeneOnTheEdge, 19 Sep 2015Samsung Pay is certainly gonna lead with its MST + NFC combinationIf Samsung could strike a deal... no use having MST / NFC capabilities when you can't roll them out anywhere.

It's really not needed. NFC contactless payment has been deployed everywhere for years, just hold your wallet up to the terminal and done. Why would banks want to or need to give Apple any money when it solves nothing.
