Instead, they store a mathematical formula wich represents the position of key points of the fingerprints, and some vectorial info too to avoid duplicities.
if you are logging in to your bank acc with chrome they already have all the date they need
I wish this worked outside of the US
""", 20 Sep 2015Your credit card doesn contain your contacts informations. But what about your phone contacts?... more1. Google won't touch my phone contacts. They explicitly said it in the privacy policy.
2. Let me ask you, how does one simply 'read' a fingerprint? Fingerprints have unique uninterpreted patterns, as opposed to passwords. And this is not a crime drama where you can check all fingerprints that belong to every person that has lived on Earth! Just what benefit would Google get if they are to 'steal' their users' fingerprints?
Your ignorance blew my mind...
AnonD-322352, 20 Sep 20151. Contact information? Lol, no. Credit cards don't contain personal/contact information.
2. ... moreYour credit card doesn contain your contacts informations. But what about your phone contacts? You sync them with your google contact every second.
How do you know that nobody can't access your fingerprint? Does google tell you that? And does google have any prove of that? And you just believe that?
I know many people said fingerprint data is saved in special chip inside the phone.
But.. Do you just believe that nobody cant read that data?
""", 20 Sep 20151. You gave your contacts informaton
s to google.
2. You gave your fingerprint to google.
3... more1. Contact information? Lol, no. Credit cards don't contain personal/contact information.
2. Your fingerprint can't simply be sent over to Google like some kind of data. It is stored within the hardware of your device. And even if they get your fingerprint, what would they do with it? Make a one-fingered bionic hand?
3. Your credit card can only be used for transactions. Like, if you go to a supermarket and slashed your credit card over the card reader, you only make a transaction. The supermarket doesn't get your banking information, history of transactions, PIN number and whatnot.
4. ...okay?
5. Ditto.
1. You gave your contacts informaton
s to google.
2. You gave your fingerprint to google.
3. And now you give your creditcard informatin to google too.
4.in the future maybe you'll give your dna, your blood, and your brain to google too.
5. And finally you'll become google's slave
Read article until US only. Will have to wait much longer I guess.
