whatever happened to Apple innovation? tablets, pads slate call it what you want has come and gone! (never actually took off if you ask me!) plus why would someone pay top dollar for a wifi of 3G picture frame! it doesn't even have a camera! its also cumbersome to type-on-to specially when you're in the bus or public transport...honestly i don't know why Apple bothered...i'd rather have a netbook - its half the price and twice the power!

hello guys, do not get me wrong the device is great looking and extremely user friendly, but expensive and idea is old, check out the original version that had already been here all along, and alredy three generation models have surfaced since three years.
it is called KINDLE for Amazone.
please google it, it is much much cheaper as well.

Dani, 28 Jan 2010It's going to revolutionise computers for the nexr decade FACTNo it's not, Acer, Samsung and Sony already have proper pads out since 2007 and they are still 10 times faster, 10 timmer better RAM and HD, better connectiosn speeds and 1000's of proper PC software, not Appstore stuff. Why would you want a week OS and processor on your pad that just takes mobile apps from Appstore? Why would u choose this over ultra-thin fancy netbooks both from Apple and others? Dude this is not revolutionary at all, it's just a freakishlly big iPod Touch with no power under the hood.

it's actually really useful you can read magazines in high quality images and the new ibook store and it runs iwork softwares. it's actually amazing.

My girlfriend just said something really weird and funny when she saw this article. She said it looks like a 10 dollar digital photoframe raped a iPhone and had a bastard baby. Lol! I really love her.. hahaha.. she made my day..

The only newsworthy component off the whole iPad worth discussing would be that Apple A4 SOC.Maybe that or the incoming A5 going into the next generation of iPhone I don't know but that should be real news.Hard to imagine any real mass appeal (unless MASS are being defined as just iTards) for this thing.
