Neighter those Samsung phones nor Iphones will lag. I use the S6 as phone, new Ipad Air as tablet. Both are equally smooth and responsive.
It's up to you what device you prefer. Android gets shorter software support, but the changes during that time are more substantial, so in the end it evens out, especially as you're not likely to hog onto a phone for much more than 2 years. Those battles are ridiculous, even though I can understand the underlying philosophical reasons for not liking Apple, their devices are still technology, pretty fine technology these days, up to par with Samsung's flagships, just in a different way.

lol, 22 Sep 2015Samsung only manufacturers the chip, Apple actually does the thinking and designing behind the chip.Samsung is the one that has working 14nm fabs, that is way more difficult than designing a new chip. So Apple owns most of the A9's performance to Samsung.

Whatever the scores iPhones just don't stutter and lag like Samsung phones. iOs is well optimised. End of story.

I have seen android users don't do much in phone apart from showImg home screen and playing games. People with android don't do much (business work android - give me a break ) - don't comment for support android. Accept the fact. I do almost all banking transaction , password protection , presentation in iOS (iPhone & iPad ) - with android I can't even thinking doing banking or password protection. When a OS itself is not protected - how the hell I will do protective work on that platform. Not only android is immature, looks like android users are immature too. For your info I have Xperia z2 as well but hardly use it .. Canno find any buyer to buy it . Will you productive android man ??

Apple rockz again. If you remove 4 small cores from samsung's cpu (which is useless but benchmarks) geekbench result's drop about %25. Clearly apple wins the competiton again

This is not surprise with crappy screen resolution on iToyTypical fandroid excuse, when iPhone 4 came it had highest res screen and yet it was fastest and smoothest phone in the market easily.
Just accept the fact that android devices can't never be as powerful as iPhone because Apple owns hardware and software and they can optimize those to work perfectly together and getting results like this.
Also geekbench isn't even about screen res, iPhone 6 and 6+ gets same score with big difference in resolution. This is exactly raw power

Its score is sim... moreOctacore were not tested, aet if quad core ment for high load (A57 cores) are not running with these benchmark app, only the core (A 53 cores) meant for basic functing got teasted. It disnt even ran quad core, probably only two cores were tested in multicore test. Snapdragon 801 is in no way that it will score more than Sd 810. But sd801 score higher un single core test. Its because of the above menuoned reason.

Umbilical Noose, 23 Sep 2015'We' means sensible people who have been watching year after year Apple crushing the competiti... moreWe have also been laughing at people like yourself who actually dont understand how these benchmarks are really not comparable as both phones work so differently, such as a wallpaper with app icons vs a computer squeezed into a phone, one has a lot more work to do hence the more cores compared to a basic screen with apps, just like true multi tasking on Android vs that phony multi tasking on iPhones. There are to many differences for these tests to be relied on.

And I get all my work done by my galaxy note and some more.oh im sorry, so are you a bus driver?? so your referring to business phone right?? every phone is a business phone, im a galaxy phone user also but I admit that mostly the ceo, general manager, CPA, and business owners, thier common phone is iphone.. yes our phone android is feature rich but is not that reliable and design for entertainment and games.. those people mentioned above always want smooth, classy, reliable, easy to use phone that has the feature and necessary apps/tools that they really need from a smartphone..
