harlekkin, 22 Sep 2015Yes it does, for a good reason. Or exactly the same reason why not every car uses a V8 engine.... moreAll cars makers dont use V8 engine as cars made by them aren't muscle cars! Similarly apple uses Dual Core as the people using it aren't power users!! For power users we have V8,V10,V12,W12,W16!! Like we have Tri-core, quad core, hexa core , octa core and even 10cores in some few phones! Its the type of audiences they target makes them to develop their cpu according to the peoples usage!

harlekkin, 22 Sep 2015Yes it does, for a good reason. Or exactly the same reason why not every car uses a V8 engine.... moreBut you DO See the dofference so the iPhones screen is just not as good as the cheaper competition. That's not OK for any reason...
Don't care about the scores but I don't find a reason why normal people who dont know much about smartphones will be upgrading their iPhone 6 to 6s...
I am sure upcoming S7, BlackBerry slider, nexus and HTC devices will be better than the iPhone 6s...
Xuke, 22 Sep 2015Sadly the endurance ratings do not reflect real life usage at all. It is commonly known amongs... moreExactly!
And this is precisely the distinction I forgot when I purchased the S6, I based my decision on my previous good experience with the S2 and S5, and trusted the endurance figures quoted via numerous tech website's whilst ignoring the warning comments of those who actually had been using the S6.
And so my mistake was made, I lost quite a bit of money when I sold the second S6 (the store would not take it back as I had already returned one, and there was no fault), It was not something I wanted to do at all, I wanted to be happy with it having paid a steep premium for it.
muya, 22 Sep 2015iPhone has a lower resolution screen.
Yes it does, for a good reason. Or exactly the same reason why not every car uses a V8 engine.
Apple aren't playing unnecessary spec games to compete, they implement specs when the time is right and enhance the user experience.
I've owned iPhone since iPhone 4, and the experience is ALWAYS consistent.
Marcell, 22 Sep 2015Wait, what? Galaxy S6- 73h endurance rating Iphone 6 - 61h endurance rating. It seems to me ... moreSadly the endurance ratings do not reflect real life usage at all. It is commonly known amongst tech reviewers that the S6 has a very poor battery life, with the lower endurance rating of the LG G4 much surpassing its' battery life in real life usage. This is a common trend when comparing endurance tests with IRL usage. There are many many phones with this same case on gsmarena vs real life reviews.
It Looks like she received iphone 6s plus, according to the shown photos it is bigger one which is 6s plus.
muya, 22 Sep 2015iPhone has a lower resolution screen. just an excuse
High performance single core is great because most of the program are coded to optimize with only one core. Though, multi-core does multitasking good that really shine in android system (it was design like that, please don't go in iOS vs Android non-sense war again).
Stop comparing the hardware each other directly when they have two different OS, if you can switch their systems into each other phone, they both would fked up.
guest7, 22 Sep 2015Xperia Z5 is an android phone and guess what it's more expensive then iphone 6s.To be fair it has 8 times the resolution of the iPhone, thwice the MP, twice the amount of RAM, twice the battery capacity, stereo speakers, waterproof, and has an SD slot.Whether it's better is another argument, but it is a lot more expensive to manufacture.
holy moly it's true is a dekstop cpu class :O take at look at single core cpu.
Processor AMD FX-8370 @ 4.00 GHz
1 processor, 4 cores, 8 threads
Single-Core Score Multi-Core Score
even fast as macbook air.
DantE O2, 22 Sep 2015lol why would they lower the prices for fun???!!! they are milking customers for fun already,... moreLess than 13% market share and more than 92% of the profits, sorry but had to correct you
Marcell, 22 Sep 2015GSMA, why are you talking about single score performance? It makes no sense, there's not a sin... moreBecause single core performance is most important score. It shows the real speed of device because most of task you don't need more than dual core.
http://youtu.be/tC4muP0su4w Look this video how one year old iPhone 6 already beat all those multicore monsters. How that's possible? Oh wait iPhone 6 has a little bit higher single core score.
So you know what going to happen with 6s right? It's going to be Superfast and there's already proves about that, one reviewer today said HD video exporting was THREE times faster with 6s than with iPhone 6. So its a huge performance boost what Apple did with 6s.
You seem like you've never owned neither the s6 nor the iPhone 6.
