swegdroid, 24 Sep 2015I agree, it'll suffer the same cruel fate as the Sammy Continuum. u r delusional
This is a bit confusing, LG copies Samsung, Microsoft takes the name Continuum from Samsung as well, and I don't know what the hell they mean by "64GB of expandable storage!," does that mean it supports up to 64GB microSD cards or it has 64GB of built-in internal flash storage?!
this is so really elegant phone the design is one of the excellent.
i can't wait to have it ...
please LG release it as soon as possible

I know a bunch of people love the company, but I simply am not going to buy a substandard device which that phone is because it is like one of two new smartphones in the world being made which does not have NFC. In three weeks time the opo people will realized what a big mistake they made when google et al have a massive roll out of android pay everywhere in both the known and unknown universe. Many of us will be throwing away our wallets and dejunking our pockets then.
Except for the OPO people and the unfortunate customers that bought their phones.
Anonymous, 23 Sep 2015but looks better than i fone and S6therefore there is edge version in S line, and iphone changes every 2 years so thats a bit harsh from you. You like design? See one+2.

As for so called 'software support', it's an LG device with a version of Android specifically tailored by them (LG) for this device.
So any needed support for said display, such as piping messages, notifications or maybe even used as a front mounted flash for the front camera, will no doubt be supplied by the tailored version of Android, or at least easily implemented via Androids more open (than most) nature.
I find these kind of ad-on displays useless or at least a gimmick that will cause more complications than anything (software support anyone?)
If Samsung did this concept and design for a phone a lot of b***sh*ts are saying its awesome, but if other manufacturers like LG did something different like this these b***sh*ts are crying out loud just to be noticed that they do not like the product. Well if that is so 1st DO NOT FOLLOW, 2nd DON'T UPDATE YOURSELF WITH UPCOMING LG INNOVATIONS 3rd DO NOT COMMENT HERE 4th GET PAID FOR WHAT YOU ARE DOING dot dot dot
i think the screen-to -body ration of this phone would be between 76-80%
this is really a good looking device

Jose, 22 Sep 2015I don't see the point with a dual screen, is this like picture in picture? seen that like 10 y... moreWith 'picture in picture' you need the main screen on for it to work. With is 'dual' screen, you don't.
Think notifications or scrolling text messages or twitter feeds (for example) without the main (large) screen turning on, and you have an efficient focused notification system. Other possibilities for its usage are pretty diverse, to say the least.
