When this will come reality I will GET IT ASAP!!!! Moreover, Congratulations to LG that continues to have in Both LG G4 & V10, that just released, micro sd card expansion slot, removable battery, rapidly astonishing improvement quality to all their Flagships!!! Congratulations to their Quality respect that LG shows to their customers!!! JUST CONTINUE LIKE THAT!!!

AnonD-416928, 24 Sep 2015It's a 2K display and a powerful SoC, what do you want? I own a G4, I am coming from a Samsung... moreActually the newer more powerful CPUs are more efficient so that isn't an excuse for the LG G4 to have pathetic battery life. The note 5 has a 2k screen (don't see the point of 2k), is more powerful and has great battery life (that said I would never buy a note 5 with only 64GB storage)

LG's planning on making their own chipset? What could possibly go wrong.
did anyone mention panasonic's CM1?

anyone still remembers the nokia lumia 1020, thats the one with 1/1.5" sensor (as per GSMarena). Need not to say that 1020 sports the same pixel resolution as the 808.
Also rumors claims that G5 comes with EYE Scanner !
AnonD-416928, 24 Sep 2015It's a 2K display and a powerful SoC, what do you want? I own a G4, I am coming from a Samsung... moreMany people just don't understand. They're never satisfied. And they probably haven't heard of alternatives. Competition is good, for one.
And even more troubling is, some people are bullying those who have different preferences. They're like ISIS already.

I own a G4, I am coming from a Samsung and I'm not a fanboy, I am looking for what best suits my needs. Tell me do you find the other flagships better? The Galaxy S6 is closest in terms of functionality and quality and what? It has reportedly terrible battery life. Other phones have 1080p displays like the Sony flagships before Z5 and still are only slightly better. Bear in mind that Chinese cheep flagship killers are not available everywhere in the world, so we are talking about the worldwide selling brands only. You will always have to sacrifice something in one phone over another. You want 2K? You want best camera? You want best SoC? You want it all-metal? You want almost no bezels? You want it 5,5 inch but to be as small and light as possible? You want it with replaceable battery? You want external SD? You want 3000+ mAh battery? You can choose only few of all this in one device, because that's how far technology goes - some of these options are incompatible with each other. That's why you search for a phone that suits your needs. Flagships are phones full of compromises that are hidden behind gimmicky options that are just dust to the eyes. Some flagships are more balanced like the G4, others are strong in one or two things and weak in another things. You can't have it all. But you can have exactly what your lifestyle demands if you just stop thinking "I need a flagship" when you don't actually need one, especially if you need battery that can last for 2-3 days.
AnonD-77443, 24 Sep 2015There are plenty of high end phones with great battery life, the 54 hour endurance rating of t... moreThat 54h endurance rating needs to be looked at a little tho. Most people care about internet usage on their phone, something on which G4 scored almost 8h, which is average among flagships. The reason why the overall rating is a little bit lower is because it only scores about 16h of talk time (the G3 had about 25h of talk time but only 6:30h of internet usage). I have the G3 and i am quite happy with my battery (but i had to deactivate most features in my settings, which is a bit annoying because i do like the tripple tap or split screen, but i can do without them for good battery life).
I am ok with the battery overall, but agree though, the G4 should have at least 3200 mAh and optimized CPU. If the G5 doesn't score at least 9h web browsing here on GSM, i am going for a Note 4/5....

yo, 23 Sep 2015LG go @ home... need batery life ... no shit camera, or cpu or 2k,4k displayIf you care for nothing else but the battery life, then a flagship with 2K display, top CPU and superior camera is not for you. Take a look at the mid-rangers with 720p display and the same 3000 mAh battery and you will be happy. You can quit the trolling now.
