Then came G3, which had a overclocked SoC and a screen that drained a lot sure to high resolution and unrefined technique. So LG wanted for G4 to have awesome battery life, so they made their screen as low draining as possible (just slightly more than G2 screen which is smaller and lower pixels) and chose the SD808, problem was, even though the screen is low power, the SoC eats power like a fat kid eats candy. So unless LG goes 4K and it drains a lot and SD820 becomes as bad as this year's 808/810, G5 should be killing in the battery life department. With some luck, LG might even throw in a larger battery, just in case SD820 didn't turn out to be efficient.

I REALLY hope they make it actually more compact this time. And I mean the device size considering the display diagonal. Because the G4 was a downgrade compared to the G3, and so did most phones on the market.

s6 came this year now s7 is on the way. g4 came this year now g5 is on the way. we have been taken for granted here. I'll never update my phones which runs smooth yet relevant. My iPhone 5s & HTC m8. Let's use our money wisely. life demands lots of money out there than changing phones every month.

LG G4 rocks and how..iam sure LG G5 will kill it aswell...was a samsung user till got LG G4...totally loved it..then my wife was using s5 duos and it was giving her lot of trouble....soo i got her LG G4..and both our phones are dual sim versions...and got free back cover gold and free extra battery with charging cradle...brought LG 1st time and totally lovin it...
will def buy the LG G5 and pass g4 to someone in the family.Hope G5 retains sd card slot and removable battery.. and bigger mah

Dude I LOVE the G4! It is one sweet phone very big, but very cool. Camera rocks music player sounds pretty sweet (not on the Google Play Music player though because the EQ doesnt work on it), also the system runs incredibly smooth just like the HTC One M9 or the Samsung GS6. Kind of angry that the G5 is soon to come out haha since it will make my phone obsolete but all good man, that phone rocks

Lg comes with the option to reduce resolution for those that don't care I think, which is good for battery and performance at least.
This years snapdragon chipsets caused problems for a lot of phones, hoping the 820 is a lot more refined.

I'm still rocking an 808 and the picture produced is still unbeatable.. I'm only going to change if a phone with a better camera comes out.. At this rate it will probably be another 2-3 years.
