apple sells less amount of phones and make more profit, this is achieved by ripping off the pockets of iphone users. the cost of making an iPhone is so small compare to how much it is sold, that's how they make outrageous profits. I still have an ipad that I hardly touch but my samsung galaxy s5! always in my hands

AppleMan, 26 Sep 2015Yes apple got more profits than Samsung. poor Samsung. lolYeah. This is what Samsung fanboys are not understanding. Even if Samsung got 50% profit, apple 15% still got more profit. Desperate sammy fanboys.

AnonD-341631, 27 Sep 2015so, what OS they use? can you mention it to me? hehe..I was talking about services, if you bothered to read the original comment. Google makes no money from Android. That's free. They make money from the services they bundle. That's why they force OEMs who want access to their version of Android to bundle so many services. In China Google services are not included on the phones the way you think they are. Which app store is included on Chinese Android phones? You probably also think it comes it gmail, Google Maps and YouTube as well.

kakouille, 25 Sep 2015Total flop?In your dreams, samsung still makes billions and the s6 is the best selling high end... moreIt only depends on the user's usage and his requirements. I use a 64GB and 128GB micro SD for my notes and i need SD cards. Now S6 and note 5 finished that so those users who are using SD cards will never ever switch to S6 while using S5,note 3,4 edge and its a fact. Regarding your comment "Youre just a jealous hater" i dont hate it but it removed our basic necessities our basic needs so how can we use S6 or Note 5 while we are using a 64GB and a 128GB SD card in my both devices????

Naturally, Apple is making more money regardless of the sales Samsung makes. If you compare the cost of making an iPhone to the selling price you discover that there are huge profits being made in every sale. On the other hand Samsung is getting higher sales from basically their mid-range devices.

Anonymous, 27 Sep 2015Apple fan trying to make logic how 14% is bigger than 21%. Lol.He is just pointing out that the information is a bit more nuanced from a business perspective. The most interesting part of this story though is Samsung's YoY slide. Apple is up a little over 2% while Samsung has slid almost 4%. But don't let the more robust analysis confuse you. Stick to the simple stuff.
