am proud to be indian,,
Good thing that Indians will have free wi-fi and lowcost brodband but i think the government should concentrate more on projects that generate jobs and quality education.
great news! all they need now are the devices to connect to that broadband signal, or maybe the money needed to buy those devices, and they're all set!! grrrrrrreat job!
wonderful job, modi ji.... go ahead to make in india.... we are with you... thank to the fast moving steps for our country...
Microsoft provide broadband to the Pakistan ... we are also the big users of microsoft phones and windows and many more products.. so provide the broadband facility in Pakistani's villages
Shrug , 28 Sep 2015It's a bad idea Bad idea,People are blind or short sighted, there is no need to bring Microsoft in for broadband, why can't Indian companies do it? Why are we giving our business to someone else where we can do it ourselves, remember Make in India slogan by modiji? What happened to that?
Thank you PM Modi. You're the most dynamic leader of this world. India is glad of you PM Modi.
This is a good move. Next question, is it at 'low cost' to the service providers or the consumers? If the difference between the cost now and 'low cost'is around 10-15%, then it really makes not much sense.
Good move Microsoft. This is one of a few things they are doing right. I don't want to hear Indian complaining in Gsmarena that their phone don't work or there is no 4G network or the internet is too slow or they don't have access to internet.
Thank us Mr. Narendra modi...you are doing such a wonderfull things
It's a bad idea
its better microsoft should release Home Edition of Windows for FREE
so that it can be freely used in rural areas
again why did the indian gov not do anything in the first place???
anime.... moar anime :)

The indian population is ripe for this kind of business, and they need cheap stuff, well done Microsoft, and Google too, dont forget. These are great initiaives. I believe high speed data access needs to be a human right accross the globe.
