Well, a discount is nice, but without the microsd card slot, their latest smartphones are very limited in the functionality, and i cannot buy them.

This is what I hate about Samsung. Fine, it may help them sell few more units but just few more. For that, why do they degrade themselves from Premium segment by offering cashback and lowering prices so soon !! Let the devices enjoy exquisite appeal. People settle for mediocre iPhones as it gives them a sense of prestige. If Samsung themselves keep degrading themselves and prove they are a shadow of iPhone, fans will only lose arguments with iPhone owners. Was so glad that S6 Edge prices weren't dropped when Note 5 arrived in India. Want Samsung to maintain the status even after iPhone 6s is launched next month.
You be proud of yourself Sammy. You be confident of your S6 family, Note 5. You are a leader. Lead like one.

1. Help Apple iPhone to develop and manufacture many generations of Apple processors.
including the 14nm A9 processor.
2. Help Qualcomm develop Snapdragon 820 , 14nm technology.
Snapdragon 810 with 22nm technology, too outdated.
3. Help Meizu to establish brand power - supply flaghsip Exynos 14nm processor to Meizu. allow beast performance in Meizu beating any other android flagship, includig iPhone 6S performance.

Forget the Apple thing for a moment and just look at the realities for most top range phones from the last 12/18 months to two years. Let take the S5, Note 3, Sony Xperia Z3 etc. People buying the Edge Plus will probably be coming from a phone of that price range.
All of them have a substantially higher second hand re-sale value than $120. Thanks for nothing Samsung. If you buy our latest phone and give us your old one, we will give you less than if you sell it second hand as a great favour to you. Think I might just pass on that one strangely enough!

I think Samsung still doesn't "get" it. iPhones buyers don't care about the rebate or price of the iphones, but the prestige that comes with it, just like people who can afford bmw and Mercedes, they will not buy a 60000$ hyundai.
