The sides are only thing that still reminds of N5, but the camera hump is very ugly, and squarish corners are uglier than nice lines of the N5. Facepalm :( on this one. Specs are ok, fine, but design is horrible.

And another thing... Unless this guy is really small that is a BIG 5.2" screen phone. It looks like a phablet. The old Nexus 5 is also actually nicer looking than the X. Look at it! It's like some Alcatel Pixi reject. I don't know what is going on at LG. The G4 isn't the prettiest phone out there either. Neither is the LG Class. It's like they made the G3 and were like "Guys, this is the best we will ever do so let's never make a nice phone again."

Back side is ok, but for $380 it has to be metallic. Front side is ugly as hell. Looks like cheap $90 phablet - ultra low quality gray display and ugly front panel itself. What are they smoke in LG?

Had been waiting very patiently for this nexus...hugely disappointed with the specs...after reading the leaked specs...i can only find the cons in this nexus and no pros for the people who wanted an upgraded version of earlier nexus 5..it would be better for me to switch myself to the earlier nexus 5. It should be not have been named nexus 5x but nexus 5p. 'P'stands for PATHETIC.

Was the idea to build the ugliest phone of the year? I'm not even sure who won LG or Huawei? Hideous pair of phones. This looks like some entry level crappy Andriod phone and the 6P has that horrible periscope looking bar near the camera. It's like they just got in a room and picked the 2 ugliest designs they could come up with. Christ I've seen amateur iPhone and Samsung mock-ups that have 1000x the appeal of these.
