So it seems that Motorola x play remains the best budget phone at only 350 EUR on amazon. 480 EUR for 5x they must be crazy.

Its far to pricy for nexus brand. Plus both of them use very bad soc. Im waiting for pixel phone by google. This phone madness must stop at some point. Even other brands are bad because of fragmantation. Google must change its policy. To wait for and possible or not update from others is just crazy. Google will lose to many customers. Im switching to ios. Not that i like it but i cant stand fragmantation any more. What ever u buy there is no guaranty that u will get updates. By Android! For now. If they come with pixel phone i will buy it for sure

You can't compare US UK & EU pricing as both economies differ and the wages are less in the US with the dollar, these are bargain prices for such good handsets that are pretty much high end

Pricing would be ok around 349 16 gb and 399 32 gb, but these prices........rather have a S6 32 gb for 480 with a custom rom.
Missed opportunity from Google, like the Nexus 6.
