Anonymous, 01 Oct 2015Nice try, Fandroid troll. lol.looks how desperate android user was ~
Brand, 01 Oct 2015That's because Android users read and comment on iOS articles, but iOS users Android articles - not.Hence, no surprises, thank you captain obvious :)

Crap iOS 9 have Hostport Internet is crash and slow for 1GB ram i have buy new Sony Xperia Z5 Compact is brillant
Im switching to ios on 9th. Had enough with Android and fragmantation and risk for no updates and late updates and old updates. Am just sick of google handling updare policy. Until they have proper update system for android im on ios in future thats it.

Seems like some users are still reporting issues with 9.0.2 (3D touch misbehaving was one examples I observed from user comments). I hope 9.1 is out soon as according to the beta users, it is less buggy than 9.0.x.
Honest Realist, 01 Oct 2015People dont buy cars to find out whats wrong with it and service it themselves. Same principle... morethe think i dont like android is why i buy expensive device but i have to mod it to get latest update and to make it better ?

shredmeister, 01 Oct 2015Hahaha... What a nonsense comment about Android patches... It just goes to show how iSheep c... more1) You're describing software modularisation, not software fragmentation. The OEM customisations Android users love are what causes one level of fragmentation, another is the different hardware requiring vastly different drivers. This means an app could run on one phone with one set of drivers, but not on another. Different versions of Android have different Kernels, the 4.4 Kernel is vastly different from the 5.0 Kernel.
2) Literally EVERYONE wants to be on the latest system. It's best practice in Software development to be on the latest system when it was released, and remember the Android 5.0.1 update within days of Android 5's release? As an IT professional I can tell you that we need the latest OS version before anyone else, how else are we to make sure our software runs on it?
3) "The whole concept that an Android user is in trouble because s/he is not on the latest version soon is BS" as an Android user, no it's not BS. Ok, Google have made the OS more modular, but if the Kernel doesn't support the new app features then what's the point? Most users need Android version 4.1 or greater for a lot of the apps on the App store, and especially games.
What Apple has over Android:
No hardware and very little software fragmentation (Leading to a better optimised OS)
More secure OS
Guaranteed better customer support

Android 6.0 Marshmallow Article, 28 comments in 2 days... lol no surprises here.

And in this case your an Android mechanic, so fine fair enough. Most people however, dont even want to be mechanics let alone do their jobs for them. Analogy of note ;) bye Mechie
Anonymous, 01 Oct 2015If you run a custom ROM on Android you get daily updates. They work on a master branch of code... moremost people wont do it because, THEY DONT HAVE THE TIME TO TINKER AROUND WITH A CUSTOM ROM AND WILL NOT RISK THE BUGS WITH CUSTOM ROMS ESPECIALLY IF THAT PHONE IS THEIR DAILY DRIVER. the updates that gets release on a daily basis are the unstable version of the roms. majority of the android users dont know how to install a custom rom even if you say its in youtube, its easy, for you maybe but try asking an average person if they even know how to root an android phone. the custom roms are for those "geeks" that has the time and the know how on how to install a custom rom but for majority of the android users, they prefer the stable OEM roms
Anonymous, 01 Oct 2015wow that was fast... less then a week since the last update.
if i was on android, I have to... moreIf you run a custom ROM on Android you get daily updates. They work on a master branch of code that automatically compiles to all the relevant models at the end of the day and is available to update. That said, security features have moved to the Google Play services framework, so getting security updates is like updating an app. And after all of that, if you want a certain feature or update, not in an update from either, you can modify your OS in its RAM without the possibility of damaging your OS. It's as simple as installing the Xposed framework and ticking a checkbox to apply a patch. And it works on any Android phone, the update doesn't have to be modified to get it to work on an HTC or Samsung or a Nexus device.
I know most people won't do this, but honestly its easy and if they are willing to pay hundreds of dollars for a device every year and don't even know how it works or bother to find out it's their own problem. Hopefully companies like Cyanogen will give an alternative to most people in the future as their popularity grows.
I will update....
whether Iphone or iOS experience is good or bad, depends on what you needs and expect from it. I know many work colleagues that would never replace iOS with another operating system, however others tell that Android is more open os they can plug their phones to the computer and add and remove any files or media with no need for itunes, or mac os.
so what you consider advantage, may be considered disadvantage by others.
shredmeister, 01 Oct 2015Hahaha... What a nonsense comment about Android patches... It just goes to show how iSheep c... more1. Apple and countless other INDEPENDENT analysts prove the horrible fragmentation in android with over 24093 distinct devices 37.8% of which are Samsung, with over 1294 brands in total. It doesnÂ’t take a rocket scientist let alone an analyst or the wealthiest company in the world to figure it out.
2. Android doesnÂ’t even have iMessage, your comment therefore is futile.
3rd. Apples Marketing budget is the smallest out of all OEM's. They product sells itself. and in MOST countries Apple doesnÂ’t even do it's own marketing, it is done by the carriers selling them. Also loads of bugs? hahahahahahahahaha infidel...
4th. Nexus devices get ok support, but even so, it still runs Android, and they are still horrible devices with horrible eco systems.
5Th... lol... 5th... anyways, you believe the ONLY reason they have become the best OS in the mobile scene is security? hahahahahaha I'm sure you still think Microsoft on desktops is still a good OS? hahahaha
Lastly. Androids issues will never be sorted, you dont see private security firms putting bounties out for flaws in Android do you? know why? A 9 year old could hack your droid, let alone find security flaws in Android lmao. Dont get me wrong they will still have the market share, free stuff does that, open source does that. Go play now mr rocket scientist.
