Lollipop is here, its easy to update, just download the file from the link given by gsmarena, put the dload folder in the root directory of sd card, do a local update in the settings, wait for the updateto finish, and do a reset using power+up volume. That's how i updated using the official lollipop release. Im running tl10 version from philippines. Wifi is great, ui is better, playing coc is a great experience. The problem with mate 7 ever since is the charging time... If don't have this phone yet and wanted to get this, i would much rather recommend you buy oppo r7 plus due to its fast charging technology, 64 bit architecture, excellent camera, oled display...

Hi guys, I have the MT7-L09 version and this update works smooth I like it, you need to unzip the "MT7-L09_Firmware_C900B324_Android 5.1.1_EMUI 3.1" file and copy the "dload" folder on your main phone folder (not tested on sd card), where "DCIM" or "DOWNLOAD" folders are located, then need to run the "local update" from your phone and that's it. Remember to backup before update (just in case).

HAS ANYBODY TRIED TO RESET AFTER UPDATE? After the update, i cannot reset the device. During the reset process i get an error every time and many options are now not available in the settings menu. I tried to install 5.1.1 again through the phone updater and the update mode both but it fails every time. So, my phone is running 5.1.1 but with millions of errors. plz help.

The link is available. I download the MT7-L09 version but installation failed 3 out of 3 times..... :-(.
I followed the instruction from attached. It failed after about 30 seconds into the upgrade.

This is great news. Have been waiting for it. Have not got any update yet and I am sitting in Dubai. Hope it gets here fast. By the way, please share experience whoever downloads it, especially in regards to data and if it gets erased.
