Hope that after launch of plant in India, the price of smartphones get a drop so that middle class people can think of using ASUS brand name.

      superb, we love you guys - just figure out camera quality issue, least to par with xiaomi models. thanks for bringing style to economical and performance oriented phones. don't build disposable battery integrated phones though.

                  Windy , 01 Oct 2015Well, it's no-brainer for Asus to assume that the smartphone market in India alone is 10%, I t... moreits already written they wanna achieve 5% of total smartphone sales... how could anyone go back to 5% when they already have 10% ;) re-read the post... 10% they talking about is smartphone market which is wrong as smartphone sale is more than featurephone sale in india...by this one can expect what research asus does and how will they turn up profits ;)

                            "smartphone penetration is just 10%"", I don't believe this! 9 out of 10 people you come across have a smart phone!! Even guys driving tuk tuk rickshaws n bus conductors have touch phs with whatsapp, email! Wrong assumption by Asus, well in any case people like to keep changing or upgrade quiet often so market is massively large in big bad overpopulated yet still increasing India!
