I probably would have got a windows before now but declined because
(1) Home screen ahs tiles you cant get rid of or move so you can just have a nice pic
(2) No T9 Phone keyboard options for messaging only Qwerty

Heard there is a Surface phone coming... hope it got all the features, including micro SD card slot, removable battery, stylus pen, Type C connector, with powerful performance and more supported apps Android and iOS have, etc. Just like after LG G4 then the V10 that make us excited!
I'm still using the Note 3, don't want to buy a new phone with less features, if ready not available, may consider a second Note 3 (cheap) or Note 4...

I have been an Android user for years. I am tired of having to buy another phone to upgrade to the latest version with a new candy name. When I do serious work I use my Windows computer. Now I can have a phone that I can do something else without having to use a third party app. I can do everything I want on a computer without apps. If you need it to play games continue to use candy named firmware. The only problem I have is that I have been on CDMA since 2001 and will change carriers if I have to.

Why should I buy this and not the lumia 640???Maybe for the newer and more powerful SoC? 3GB of RAM? 20MP OIS camera? For the 1440 x 2560 screen resolution? The 2TB micro SD support? Qi Wireless charge?
Also you will find Continuum and Iris Scanner.
I doubt you could possibly find those features in the 640.

I dont know ho... moredude , I also personally dont like windows phones but wnat to tell u that every phone company has their own UI, samsung has touch wiz,lenovo has vibe etc and they wont ever change except some cosmetic change.Microsoft UI is one of the beartiful interface,where tilesare highly customisable for what u want in the shortcut.

If this is how Microsoft wishes to go forward with their designs for the flagships, they are completely on the wrong track. A sophisticated and a design like the work of art of the Lumia 930 Or the Simple youth's eye catching design of the Lumia 830 would have been a great way to kickoff their new flagship. And being a big Lumia fan, I'm very disappointed.
