Someday Crapple will steal this feature and declare " world's first smart frame device developed only by crapple"

This sounds like a great idea. And might even be used smarter than just fixed bezels.

It could be an area where touch are ignored, that still could be used for e.g. notifications.

And if made smart, they can detect where the device is held, and dynamically reduce or increase bezels, and turn on/off at specific edges, depending on how each person prefer to hold the device.

That is an interesting idea but not viable. What about the front facing camera? Skype is a major feature. You cant kick it out.

Sounds pretty good. Just hope that the screen glass is fingerprint resistant and strong.
