Raviteja, 23 Feb 2016Please post marshmallow Update for MotoE 1 st Gen.. Please speed up the process of updating marshmallow to motoe first generation, since we are eagerly waiting for a long time.
Please do not blindly update to android 6. It is horrible for moto users. It drains battery thrice as fast as it was doing in lollipop. And the google home launcher gets stuck for few seconds with every swipe. You make a call and then you cant cut the call down and that situation is worse when the other person on the phone is moto user too. I have moto g 2nd gen as my friend do. It has been 3 days since we updated and in these 3 days this call hang problem happened thrice to us. You have option to optimize battery by optimizing app, sounds god but wait your phone has to be turned off at least 5 times a day since it hangs up every now and then and becomes unresponsive and after you turn it on, it starts optimizing those apps before it turns on the phone, now wait for 30 mins again.
It turns out android 6 is developed keeping Google Nexus in mind. The more good it does to Nexus the far worse it does to Moto.
Most of the apps are not ready to work with Android 6 on Moto G 2nd gen. Yes I updated apps too but in vain !!!
So don't waste your precious 500MB data and time and moreover your smartphone for this useless update.
