this phone is awesome hot. dun care how long it takes to come out, if its good people will be willing to buy. better than any of those samsung or lg phones that are drowning the market, taking advantage of poor common consumers that don't know better. good thing is update updated version of android will be available.

The phone's gonna be released on April for VODAFONE only it's not like all the X10 should be out til April. The release date is still unknown. And who knows, it could come out this month. SE really have dropped the ball this time, i have been due an upgrade since January, and i have been waiting for this phone to be released watching on here and Vodafone's website.
Whilst browsing i have been reading the e-forum on the I-phone all is not rosey at the moment on VF, signal prob,ems being the biggest issue.
Right now there are a lot of unhappy customers who would be dying to try out the X10, and what do SE deliver yet another delay. SE really need to think out their stratagy and more importantly pull thier fingers out because right now they are planning to release their flagship phone just two months before the new I-phone is due to hit the shelves.
In truth which would most people choose, an untried mobile, or one that has its heritage and following. SE you are missing the boat big time, and your financial results are showing it all too true.
Sort your act out guys, before you have nothing left...............

But they didn't finish the product and showcase it til Nov. Nobody knew offiacially what it looked like til Nov, even thou correct pictures of the X10 has been floating around the web for like a year.

Why is everyone complaining about Android 1.6?
Many online phone seller websites have posted that SE WILL release Android 2.x when X10 is released not the older 1.6 version!
Also, NOT many people uses video calls so it's essentially USELESS to the GENERAL public!! Why include a device that only a "small" handful of people will use?! Doesn't make sense costwise or functionwise! Leave it out to save money!!
People still B*tch and complain about a phone that's NOT even released yet!

This phone is so late that it still has Android 1.6
Way to go SE!
Hopefully a non official latest Android will be available for this phone at XDA Developers a few weeks after release.

I am a SE fan. I have keep using SE phones for 4 years. I hope X10 really release in April. I will spend my money on it, as I also don't want SE become history of mobile phone manufacturer.
To SE, a lots of fans is waiting for it. With the hardware spec (non-upgradable, since software can be upgrade), if you sell it in reasonable price, it will attract a lots of people & become a big hit to the market again.
