Maybe they are waiting for the Financial year ending to start. Hoping the Donut will be upgraded to a v2.5 at least before the release. Wish the unbranded X10 are also released.
It would be great if its released together with the X10-mini, with some goodies for rewarding the patience of waiting for half a year for this.

For a company so long in the business of elctronic devices and gadgets u wud think they wud do better than that 2 hav this device out on the market already.Personaly I like Sony brand but I dont know what is goin on in their world of phones(late devices n high prices)...Mayb they want no recurrences of Aino and Satio again,after ppl payin so much money.

rk, 04 Feb 2010i dont rate vizair phone whos wants to record in hd anyway not such a big thing is it?The Vivaz runs on symbian so there is a whole range of apps you can download on it. The HD recording is just a nice thing to have, my opinion is that the Vivaz is a nicer and better alternative to the Omnia HD.

I work in the mobile phone industry and i meet alot of represntatives from different manufacturers, I met the SE rep two days ago who told me to expect the Vivaz in three weeks and the X10 in March, we will just have to wait and see if SE will actually release it in march.

What about the unbranded/unlocked version? Just rumours everywhere, about operator companies selling this device, but what about the "clean" unlocked version? The non-branded X10 should release earlier. Vodafone, t-mobile and other mobile operators can have it later. I need the unlocked X10!

i think its too late again for SE. am awaiting the htc bravo, samsung will be announcing some devices at MWC running android among other companies that have adopted android. this seemed like a promising phone when announced but now its just another android device, nothing special. SE really do miss their opportunity, no wonder they're making loss after loss.

I really hope they're considering releasing it with 2.1 on it... I could have handled a 1.6 phone in December, but by April it will be a slap in the face. IF it ships with 1.6, then I would expect an update to whatever flavor of the month OS version is in the works.

Here we go again on the roller coaster called delays. Only the laggards at SE can pull off a stunt like this, each and every time they plan to bring a flagship phone to the market. I wouldn't be surprised if Sammy and Nokia announce X10 beating phones at MWC and get them on the shelves before the Xperia.
Come on SE you uberdimwits, what's with the bloody delay? There are countless people including me who can't wait to buy this phone and you just don't want to give it to us. Stop dilly dallying for God sake! Chop chop!!!
