And most people here have the 9505 or the 9515 variant. Also the Nexus 5 was bloody expensive at release over here because of the lack of proper channels for the consumer to buy it. If you wanted to buy the 9506 S4 it would cost you even more. Nexus 5 and the 9506 are grey imports over here. Shipping taxes, VAT, vendor wants some of your money as well... so the Nexus 5 was not 349$ but closer to 500 Euros. The SD800 S4 even more. Sorry for disregarding the existence of the 9506 model of the Galaxy S4 though. Should've checked my facts ;)

because of the Googles politics in the europe im moving to the apple. Its redicules that nexus 6 costs in USA 299 dolars and in europe 475euro. the same regarding the latest phones. Google is not realising that it looses europe and its actually happening.

Mic... moreTo be honest I would choose the Nexus, made by LG, a very innovative Korean company in terms of design and features, also very reliable, always having the latest updates, with a very good camera (what I have seen so far), over the Chinese Honor 7, with plenty of bloatware, trying to copy the iPhone design, which will slow down visibly after a year. I do agree that £339 asked on the Google site is a bit too much, £280 would have been more adequate.

The Nexus 5 was better than the S4 since the latter came with a Snapdragon 600 as opposed to Nexus' S800. Albeit it had a smaller battery pack, LCD instead of Amoled and the camera was a bit worse. But the timely updates helped and the price sealed the deal.

moo0, 03 Oct 2015Well it's running Touchwiz, has a smaller camera sensor, has those stupid capacitive touch but... moreThe s6 has a chipset that not only thrashes the snapdragon 808 - it thrashes the 810 flagship grade chipset too meaning it's powerful enough to handle touchwhizz which has been toned down anyway. Also it's camera has been voted slightly better than the nexus 5X. Plus it has a super amoled screen that produces accurate colours over the 5X dated Lcd 1080p unit. Basically the S6 is near enough the best phone you can buy for looks and performance. Oh and it also has wireless charging so you don't have to worry about any kind of charging cable. In 2013 the original nexus 5 was on a par with the galaxy s4 for performance and looks, this latest version is nowhere near flagship grade!

or for £50 pounds less than a 16gb nexus 5x, you could get a honor 7 for £250. Micro-sd card slot, full metal unibody, fingerprint scanner, 20mp camera, 3gb of ram and powerful kirin 935 chipset which is equivalent to a snapdragon 808. And, it is more compact.

A word of caution: Once CPW have your money that's it as far as they're concerned.
If you have ANY issues, despite UK law, they will refuse to deal with them.
They'll also most likely lie to you in order to get you into a contract with a provider.

The Nexus 5X has the big ace of being stock Android.

That's really nice of carphonewarehouse, because I don't want to spend a lot of money for phones any more. I really need to upgrade my Galaxy Note 4. And its sluggish OS has driven me mad makes me want to go back to Nexus.
