Mangesh, 08 Oct 2015Dont know why Android havent yet released Fingerprint authentication.Sony and Samsung recent flagships have it. Sony has a nice one hand configuration were the sensor is on the side power key allowing you to open the phone in the same action that you grab it to view it. (So you don't have to hold the phone with one hand and swipe with the other like Samsung and Apple)

It's nice to see Sony's long term commitment to support users as far as software upgrades go. Most users with other vendors are lucky to get even Lollipop...

Dominator, 08 Oct 2015How about my 1 years old sony z ultra c6833 lteZ ultra is a old device. you bought it 1 year ago doesn't mean it's a one year old device. it's a 3 year old device and if it loses marshmallow, its acceptable! still Google play edition version of Z ultra will receive it, so you may port that Rom to your Z ultra

It's sad to see that Sony won't be upgrading the Z3v to Marshmallow. They have been so delayed in getting Lollipop 5.1 to us Z3v, presumably Verizon is partly at fault but they should still be trying to make it up to us for not yet receiving the Lollipop update by giving us the chance to see Marshmallow. The Z3v is similar to other Z3 devices and should be treated the same. Shame on both Sony and Verizon.

One of the main reasons i'm getting a Z3 ... moredont expect an old device to be updated until the very end....wake up..this is business and updating an old phone is only waste of money rather than winning something....for good or bad people will choose devices depending on their likes... and price...xperia z is good ...but not the best around....is capable to run the os but wont be updated even the z1 is getting the same risk...now z1 is way faster than z ..another exaple is my g2 from lg... it has received less updates than ur experia z but ur xperia came from ics wic is way old and now lollipop 5.1.1 guy u should be great full even my g2 is still with 5.0.2 wich is not good for a lot of people.... and i think lg wont update and will be be my las lg device if at least not getting 5.1.1 with a fresh interface ..because even midrangers with half of my phone performance got 5.1 android .
