Anonymous, 08 Oct 2015Looking at the data, iOS has gained, mostly at Android's expense, in many countries. Unfortunately my friend, this article ain't about iOs. It's about Windows.
..and Microsoft, you can do this. Keep it up. With proper marketing, wider availability, and aggressive price point you will slowly but surely rise. End the duopoly.
WP may be great but lack of customization and apps is keeping me away from it...
And the WP share is getting "Nos" after Windows Mobile 10 launch.
This report is not so accurate. for example, the report mentioned also Brazil; (Aug 2015) 91.4% android, iOs 4%!!!!, WP 4.7%!!!!!, BB 0%!!!! and others 1.5% which makes a total summation of 101.6% !!!!
In Russia: iOS 10.8% and WP 12%
so, do not take it serous, it is just estimations... they are not so sure...it guess
for your reference:
They never include countries like India, windows phone market share in India is very good. Reason behind is they want android and iOS to look a lot superior....
Spain seems to be getting poorer!
Looking at the data, iOS has gained, mostly at Android's expense, in many countries.
The most stable figure = Windows Phone.
with minimum -VE = -0.3%.
iphone has -0.8% in one country though.
Android is declining as they don't provide updates to budget devices and some tier one manufacturers will provide updates only to phones more than 400$ so what about security of the rest budget phones they are left like an orphan
Why Kantar is missing to report on Indian Marketshare?
seriously??? Reporting on a miniscule countries than high density countries???
Android will be doomed in 2 years
Anonymouses, 08 Oct 20155 years OS upgradibility? No need to. Win10 is the last windows. They will update regularly li... morewhat i mean is they dont stop the updates after just 2 years, and they will always give fast security updates.
And Samsung with a 5.7% increase across the board... And more losses than anything else. hahahahahahaha
5 years OS upgradibility? No need to. Win10 is the last windows. They will update regularly like a smartphone os platform.
Why no data on Asian countries like India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka. Those countries have a huge market for Nokia phones, thus Windows Phone. Some countries have around 35%.
But no mentions in how many countries market share collapsed. How can market share grow if Ms has only one model 640 to offer? This is propaganda.
Keep on going windows...
