Apple watch was successful, convincing people that its a good product. Thing is Apple fanatics are content with everything Apple releases. They are content with its battery not lasting long enough. Charging their expensive watch while they sleep, even though it comes with a sleep tracking sensor. Content with it being useless without the phone. But these guys have money, so they do not care at all. They either know or not know the limitations, but its Apple, they must buy it.

I don't want to compare, Don't want to tell anybody for buying any product but after purchasing that I will like to show them the real power of Microsoft surface 4 Pro & Surface book....
Their are thousands of Things that surface can do but iPad can't...
Those people who choose sufface are Intelligent & utilize their Important money ...
And those buying iPad are those who don't care about money , They just want iPad because it comes with Apple logo...
I bet that even if iPad is 5times slower than any tablet available in the planet then even after that these dumb people just purchasing dumb iPad ...
Sorry to everyone to whom I am said dumb because They are Bloody Dumb & justgo to hell & die with isolation...

It's the best selling smartwatch...well being the best selling in a niche market doesnt make something a success. need actual numbers to quantify if it was a sucess or not. what were the number of sales - cost to manufacture = is the most basic for accountability. but then you must add all the NVA to the scenario. non value added being the costs associated with quality control as well as the original research and development costs. until you can show a true bottom line you cant say its a success or a failure. but judging by how hard apple is trying to keep the watch on peoples minds. i would have to take a stab that if it was profittable, it wasnt by the margins that apple was expecting or hoping for.

Did people watch Microsoft's event. The presenter who I forgot his name said that the iPad pro's pencil doesn't has eraser, they (Apple) is going backward, hahahaa so funny and true.

Samsung and Microsoft have been giving them the right tools for years tha... moreI attempted to get work done on a surface pro 3 but the device is just not meant for designers imo. If the ipad pro and the pencil is as good as they're making it appear especailly with the tilt sensitivity, then it's a no brainer for artists. Heck even Disney animators are jizzing all over it. If it's good enough for them, then I'm sold.

The people you talk about are entertainers, if even that.
Second, iPad Pro should be a good tool, but, for example - it can't run real Photoshop. Adobe is not going to write a new "stylus" version of Photoshop just for this device unless a few million people buy the Pro and demand it, while real Photoshop already exists for Surface. The same probably goes for a number of other apps, they don't have a version for this tablet. And for serious drawing people have Wacom tablets.
