If you are looking for an alternative password manager, take a look "Intuitive Password" online password mansger. I have more than 200 passwords and they are all different for each site, I use it everyday. It works on all devices including smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktop PCs without installation required. Intuitive Password provides a Data Restore Points feature so you can't lose your data using their service.

SiaV, 12 Oct 2015or you can write down all your data on paper... About encrypting the data you save on LastPas... more" FYI they don't even have your Master password."

How do you KNOW this? Where is the source code?

Lastpass was a DC-based company. There's no reason to trust them. It's 2015. We all know better...

About encrypting the data you save on LastPass you can see them for yourself, as they keep a copy of it on your own computer but its encrypted so unless you have all three of Master Password , the Hash Salt they add to it and the encrypted files you can't crack it.
FYI they don't even have your Master password.

There's no way to know that Lastpass was keeping their word at encrypting your data. None at all. The source code is not out there. They could have been lying the entire time. All you had was their word. They were a company based out of the Washington DC Metro area, if that makes you feel safe. Now they've sold to another company, and that trust chain is broken.

You would be wise to save your money, use KeePassX, and save the file in Dropbox/Skydrive/Google Drive/whatever.

The way your info is stored on Lastpass does not allow them to see your private data. all they have an encrypted blob.

So this is bad news? Should I stop using LastPass? I have quite a lot of passwords stored in their account!
