heynekko, 11 Oct 2015Good. Then all of these features(flash, java, silverlight) will be built-in instead of plug-in... moreNo... they won't exist anymore. Those technologies are reaching their end, giving way to HTML5.
Good. Then all of these features(flash, java, silverlight) will be built-in instead of plug-in.. Should increase the stability if built in
Jack, 11 Oct 2015Why?? Plugins like Flash are wonderful. Everyone likes those annoying flash ads and ad network... moreThey will have to go to html5 anyway. Flash is a big security hole, a patch on a patch on a patch. If you do a search for - Hacking Team flash exploit - you'll see what the latest alert was about. Yet, Mozilla said that Flash will stay, of all things, because a lot of companies depend on it...

Everyone likes those annoying flash ads and ad network... moreflash is not only used for those annoying ads, but most websites still use flash for video playback, that's one thing I use firefox for, plus it has the best video downloader in the desktop realm
Why?? Plugins like Flash are wonderful. Everyone likes those annoying flash ads and ad networks like them as well. I can have a pleasant browsing experience by not installing flash at all. Now these guys are gonna cram their nuisance-ware into HTML5-JS technologies which we can't escape from.
No Matter, 11 Oct 2015It's all because of add blockers... dude those are add-ons plugins are a different story

Is FireFox really good? People in my office are dying to get rid of it from their computers ever since our office start updating every single computer into Windows 8.1. Firefox keep on launching automatically without asking as a default browser when clicking on links. We hate it. Not always though but sometime it is annoying as we favor Chrome browser better.
Wow Firefox 64-bit coming! seems like I will soon not use chrome again :)
I really can't understand all this hype about HTML5. It even cannot display proper text on older browsers and devices. But wasn't simplicity and compatibility at the very foundation of HTML? To be able to open and read a webpage no matter where you are or what you're using? Seems like it isn't anymore! Shame!
At least FF is not pulling the plug on plugins(see what I did there) all of a sudden.
