AnonD-420777, 14 Oct 2015All OEM is on the same OS, Android...why not just use Android Pay and just be with it? a payment system it's a business, so, it generate profit to whoever owns it, companies exists to make money, not to make easier your life (unless that generates money, of course)

By the way i saw that we have nfc stickers pay. Soon near you, walmart nfc sticker pay, amazon nfc sticker pay, Hell can we vote with those too. How about 100000 different systems to vote so we can make hard for government to count.

This is just ridiculous. Apple pay, Samsung pay, Android pay, G pay, Android wallet, Apple wallet. This has to stop. Whats next, Meuizu pay or no no One plus 13 pay. No let make it china clones mobile pay, why not! Those who regulate standards for nfc, wifi and other standars should create one standard for all. And thats it.

Anonymous, 13 Oct 2015Well, all additional payment based systems on Android such as G pay and Samsung pay seems hila... moreYou're not taking in to account the hardware aspect of this payment system.
Yeah sure - Apple Android Samsung G etc - everyone can do NFC payments. Samsung have MST technology which makes it compatible with any magnetic card reading device - not only the newer models with NFC which not every vendor has or can (yet) support. If LG can bring out even more compatibility with more types of payment systems than NFC and MST then bring it on I say! :)

More fragmentation we don't need. More work for the banks to learn and process this new stuff. More hassle for us to explain to the cashier why we are waving our phone at the payment terminal. More humiliation if your phone doesn't work and a big line is waiting for you waving around your phone.

For the funny, skip to the bottom part.
Pretty much, all of these will fall flat on their face. Unless all these payment methods are based on the same core tech and are compatible with eachother, the ONLY ones that will survive is the Apple and Google ones.

And now the funnies from LG HQ:
Wut up G? I heard you're into da mobilez cash 'n s***, so we got da bomb for your party with da new G paymAnt yo!

vrvly, 13 Oct 2015No words from Microsoft? Sony?Well, all additional payment based systems on Android such as G pay and Samsung pay seems hilariously stupid since all phones with NFC can already use Google Wallet and Google Pay at compatible card machines. They should stop this fragmentation. As for Microsoft, I don't know if they have a payment system. Certainly haven't heard of any.

Hilarious! As everyone knows, Samesung invented G Pay and Apple Pay. I've been using Samesung Pay on my Samesung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus for the past few months and it works perfectly every time. I love paying for the weekly shopping while simultaneously checking my emails. My phone is such a powerful multitasker, especially for power users like me. It's a Samesung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, by the way.

What is more versatile than magnetic strips? They are most likely referring to the compatible bank accounts you can attach to it. Currently, Samsung has a very small number of accounts that will work with it.
