Before everyone keeps getting bent out of shape, this is clearly a tongue-in-cheek marketing stunt.. Sure they may honour it, but I doubt they actually expect anyone to take it up.
Just a little bit of intentional viral marketing, shows they have a sense of humour. :)
This is a crap phone trying to be a flagship, its no way better that even the note 2
Jack, 15 Oct 2015I have Nokia 1100, let's see if they can make an exception. :))))) lol
I agree to exchange glass shattered my galaxy S (1) with one plus 1 or 2. Nothing more than that.
Though I understand what is written in here, l cannot get the point of it. I may get a brand new one plus2 if I gave them one of the Samsung's new phones?? And only 50 will be selected?? May be it is just to attract attention!!!!!
No one seems to understand how market works lol. Once your S6 is out of the store, it's price is not 600 anymore, it's more like 500. Few months later, that price is already 400 or so. So in this case, You give out a product that will bring you 350 or less if sold, for a brand new product of the same value (initially).
Therefore, this is a square and fair deal. It just needs some thought to be put in place.
Ha ha, trade your flagship phone for our non-flagship phone, no thanks.
what a joke. trading cool exynos with overheateed sd810 is a very very fool idea.
If i want to donate, i'll donate straight to the organization. What makes oneplus think that people who own S6 will trade their phone even they say they will donate it. Seriously, i don't get what kind of motive that oneplus want from doing this.
Its good to have faith in your product but over confidence ? Or the sales team at one plus two got a rumour that the owners of Samsung flagships phones are fed up with their device and are dying to own one plus. Just a silly propaganda.
Trade in your old oneplus one and get a brand new oneplus two would be better
Oneplus 2 is like a child who thinks he has the best cycle in town, until someone from his neighborhood shows a better cycle or beats him in a race with a shittier cycle.
Anonymous, 15 Oct 2015What the heck guys?
They don't demand ur phone ! And they ain't using ur phone for their pur... moreI think your confused.
THEY are not making any sacrifices. They are giving you a $400 handset and taking a $600-800 off you.
So the people who are giving in theirtop sepc handsets for much weaker specs are making the real sacrifices.
Poor Carl, it seems he has not even done his high school.
I would rather keep my Samsung flagship and donate $389 instead of exchanging it with OPT.
He is still trying to do the promotion of OPT, instead of improving their OS bug and providing good after sales service.
Carl is really a kid with high ambitions and no vision.
